Nirvana was a band of alternative rock grunge, formed on Aberdeen, Washington, United States.
The band was active on the 90s , they were too popular in these years because they did a song called "Smell Like Teen Spirit" which was very successful and today is also well recognized worldwide. (:
They also did a popular album called "Nevermind" which reached large scales in the world and make Nirvana a comercial band, something that kurt hates after, because he wasn't has a comercial band , the audience called and declared the band as a symbol of generation x .
